Abby is a passionate speech therapist who thrives on helping individuals achieve their communication and feeding goals. With a Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours) from the University of Newcastle in Australia, she has had the privilege of working across a variety of settings, including hospitals, clinics, and community environments. Her practice is deeply rooted in neurodiversity-affirming principles, focusing on celebrating each child’s unique strengths and respecting their autonomy. She creates a safe and supportive environment where children feel empowered and understood, tailoring her approach to meet their individual needs and preferences.
Abby specialises in a child-led, play-based approach to therapy, believing that following a child’s natural interests and developmental pace is key to fostering meaningful progress. Her sessions are engaging, empowering, and designed to help children build confidence while achieving their goals. She works closely with parents, providing practical strategies that fit seamlessly into family routines. This collaborative approach ensures that therapy outcomes extend beyond sessions, making a positive impact on the child’s daily life.
With extensive experience in speech, language, and feeding therapy, Abby focuses on supporting neurodivergent children, including those with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), global developmental disorder (GDD) as well as genetic disorders and feeding disorders. Her holistic, evidence-based care emphasises building strong relationships and empowering families to navigate their unique journeys. For Abby, therapy is about more than skill-building—it’s about fostering confidence, connection, and joy for both children and their families.
Abby is multilingual, fluent in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia. She is currently awaiting her registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) in Singapore.
