Ms Oh Bee Lim
Malaysia, MAHPC
Ms. Oh Bee Lim is the founder and visionary leader of Pacific Speech Therapy and Learning Centre Group, a leading provider of speech therapy and learning services in Malaysia and beyond. A distinguished graduate from the National University of Malaysia (UKM) in 2009, Ms. Oh embarked on an impressive career, initially serving as a research officer at De Montfort University in the U.K. and as a swallowing & speech-language therapist at Changi General Hospital, Singapore. During her time in Singapore, she recognized a significant gap in professional speech therapy services in her home country, Malaysia, which led her to return and establish Pacific Speech Therapy in 2010.
Under her leadership, Pacific Speech Therapy and Learning Centre has grown into a dynamic organization with over 100 professionals, offering holistic, one-stop paediatric therapy services across more than 10 branches in Malaysia. In 2024, Ms. Oh expanded the services internationally, launching a branch in Guangdong, China, and in 2025, Pacific Speech Therapy established its first headquarters in Singapore. Ms. Oh’s unwavering commitment to quality therapy services has made a profound impact on the lives of many children with special needs.
Ms. Oh’s contributions to the speech therapy field extend beyond her work at Pacific. She was appointed to the Board of Committee to review the Bachelor of Speech Sciences program at UKM in 2017 and has received numerous accolades, including being named Alumni Tersohor by the UKM School of Rehabilitation Sciences in 2015. In 2024, she was honored as a distinguished entrepreneurial alumna by the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences at UKM.
An advocate for continuous professional development, Ms. Oh has hosted several international certification workshops, bringing renowned experts from around the world to Southeast Asia to enhance the skills of allied health professionals. She also serves on the Board of the Malaysia Allied Health Professional Council from 2022 to 2025, contributing to the regulation and growth of the profession.
Through her tireless efforts, Ms. Oh remains dedicated to elevating the quality and accessibility of therapy services for those in need, inspiring both professionals and the community at large.
