Early Intervention
Programme (EIP)

Early Support for Communication, Learning, and Everyday Life Skills Our Early Intervention Programme (EIP) supports children aged 2.5 to 6 years who may be experiencing developmental differences in areas such as speech and language, social interaction, emotional regulation, fine motor skills, or sensory processing.

We focus on nurturing each child’s strengths through play-based, relationship-centered support—helping them grow in confidence, connection, and independence.

Programme Highlights

  • Small group setting with 2:5 adult-to-child ratio
  • Led by educational therapists or special education teachers
  • Weekly group Speech Therapy and Occupational Therapy sessions
  • Tailored learning goals and monthly progress updates
  • Close parent collaboration and coaching

Our Programme Approaches

This early intervention programme is designed for children who may benefit from more structured support while they are attending school. We integrate:

  • TEACCH strategies: A structured, visual-based approach for promoting independence, especially effective for children with autism or communication difficulties.
  • Handwriting Without Tears (HWT): A proven multisensory system for teaching pre-writing and fine motor development through fun and stress-free activities.

This holistic approach addresses the child’s whole development—language, movement, behaviour and independence—giving them a strong head start for formal education.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What does a typical EIP session involve?
Sessions involve activities that targets speech and language skills, motor skills and social communication skills guided by therapists and interventionists either on one to one or group sessions.
Will I get a developmental report after EIP assessment?
Yes. Our team provides Individualised Educational Plan (EIP) that includes the results of the assessment and the goals for intervention. This will be shared and discussed to parents with our team of professionals.
What if my child doesn’t talk yet?
That’s okay. Our programme is individualised to every child. Our team is trained to work with children needing different support. We use visuals, gestures, AAC (Augmentative Alternative Communication) and routines to support non-speaking children and emerging communicators.
